A Tribute to John Cotton Dana Commemorating the Sesquicentennial of His Birth

This exhibition commemorates the life and career of John Cotton Dana and highlights his revolutionary approach to libraries and what he so often referred to as, "the people's university." The exhibition comes one hundred and fifty years after his birth and spans his career successes as both library director and museum founder in the city of Newark, NJ.
